Being from the Midwest I really enjoyed seeing the rugged coast and hearing the sea otters. Monterey was the highlight for me, dining on a patio overlooking a gorgeous bay. I am not interested in golf so I could have done without Pebble Beach and spent more time in Carmel. Our guide repeatedly gave the same instructions but maybe he was a teacher in a previous life. He was knowledgeable and informative about the sights.

It was a really wonderful trip! Our driver, Thomas, was fantastic with lots of great tidbits about all the attractions! Thomas is the best with giving information about all the stops and letting us know where to meet back up! All the attractions were great and it was a really worthwhile.

I can now say I have been to Monterey, Pebble Beach, Carmel-by-the-Sea and all points in between. The Pacific coastline is amazing. No star sitings! We used our time in Monterey to visit the Aquarium (careful with this because we had two hours and the line was long but it was early and the line moved fast; I had purchased tickets online so once inside moved through ticket area quickly). Thomas, our driver, knowledgeable about area, stopped frequently, encouraged us to get off the bus and walk. Riding in a coach bus in a Mercedes isn’t a rough ride.
