San Francisco: Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito Cycling Tour

Our guide was very caring, and patient, as I hadn't been on a bike for many years .thank you Adam

Adam was fabulous and knowledgeable. He’s so dedicated and loves his job that he even worked on his birthday which was our day of our tour. HBD ADAM! The downside of the tour unfortunately was I waited until after 2 steep hills, which I walked up when my e-bike instead of riding it despite Adam kept saying it was going to be easy up a hill with an e-bike?!?!, did I finally get the courage to query that the bike was faulty with Adam. I didn’t want to sound like a whinger or totally physically inept. Anyways I wasn’t imagining it and Adam quickly swapped his e-bike for mine. It made a HUGE DIFFERENCE. So if it’s not working do tell the guide. Lucky Adam was there so didn’t lose any time of the tour but it would have been annoying to have to return back to the shop to swap for a working e-bike. Was a great tour - we lucked out with the weather. Sausalito was cute; caught the Blue and Gold Fleet ferry which took us to Pier 41 - you can buy the tickets onboard or online

We did this tour on the morning of the 23rd of May and would suggest… 1. Go to SF, great city and the people are very friendly 2. Do a bike tour, excellent way to see the city and experience travelling over the Golden Gate Bridge 3. Do the bike tour through this business, made everything straightforward and easy 4. Go for the ebike option, makes hills that bit easier and can go that bit quicker when necessary 5. I’m sure all guides are good but if get Adam you will be very lucky, very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. He really knows his stuff and has a great love of all things from San Francisco. A great ambassador for the city. Many thanks Adam
