This tour is amazing, if you pass by San Cristobal you have to do it! It's an incredible occasion to know more about indigenous communities. The tour guide is very well planned, really nice also the second part of the tour where they bring you in the weaving mill and let you taste some local drink/food. You will be really lucky if you have Rodrigo as a guide, he's great at translating everything for you in English and Spanish at the same time and his knowledge is unbelievable! Would do it again if I could!

As with other tours that I've taken this week in Chiapas, this tour is touted as being in English. This was a bilingual tour, with 4 participants there ofr the English guide. The guide would always address the dozen Spanish speakers first, speaking at length (5+ minutes) and then dismiss them. Turning to the four of us, we would hear perhaps as much as 90 seconds of material. When discussing it with them afterwards, we all expressed that we felt shortchanged. Be that as it may, this is a most intereesting tour as far as the places visited. Close enough to San Cristobal to not fatigue due to transportation, and enough time at both venies to explore.

Really cool experience. Alonso was really approachable and was leading the tour in both English and Spanish really well. His stories were eye-opening and really useful. Some parts of the tour (greenhouse and posh tasting) were only in Spanish though. Definitely enjoyed this chilled tour.
