Mountains and lakes of Salzkammergut region were unforgettable, and Hallstatt beautiful. We were not satisfied with the guide. She was more driver than guide, and we missed important part of the tour because of lack of clear information.

Well-known by its breath-taking beauty, Hallstatt is considered by many visitors as one of the most beautiful lake side villages in the World. Spending about 2 hours in Hallstatt, it is hard to know where to start. You may explore the old town visiting the world-famous Bone House behind the Catholic Church or turn back time at the local museum – since a whole era of mankind was named after Hallstatt, the so called Hallstatt Period (800 BC – 400 BC). Take a leisurely lakeside walk seeing houses above you cling onto the mountainside, pass by the Mühlbach waterfalls or experience the magnificent “World Heritage View”, 360 meters above town, on the Hallstatt sky walk! Hall...

Great day in a just beautiful village (despite the long journey it's really worth it), the boat ride and the climb to the point of view are really to do, I highly recommend!
Superb places and top guide: Lots of information, various stops to take photos as well as a bonus stop for a little snowball fight and return to Austrian music.
It was a very nice trip, I can recommend a ride on the mountain railway, as well as the restaurant up there.
the trip was wonderful and our guide Leo was amazing, he knew a lot and was very nice
Very well. Nice walk through the countryside to Hallstatt with a friendly guide.
