It was amazing hearing the performers in a "room" rather than a huge concert hall. no microphones, just music. There was no AC- though I suspect it is more comfortable when not in the middle of an epic heatwave- but still completely worth going.
Musicians were stupendous and the venue historic. Acoustics ideal. Phenomenal concert! Tip: Don’t pay extra for the reserved seats unless you can book them for the first five rows. First come first served seats along the side offer a better view than the back reserved rows. Go to the box office (same place as venue) the moment they open to exchange the GYG tickets for the concert tickets (required), then wait in line to get in and get the side seats up front.
