Salzburg: City and Countryside Mountain Bike Tour

Daniel was a lovely tour guide ensuring we made it safe through the city out to the countryside. The ride was flat but with stunning views of the wildflowers and Untersburg mountain. We enjoyed chatting with Daniel learning the history of Fortress Hohenstrazburg and some of the town. Out in the country side we stopped at a pump track to learn some mountain biking moves, including how to take jumps, lean into turns and a bunny hop. We were expecting some elevation gain but were okay with the enjoyable bike ride to the pump track in the end. Thanks Daniel for an enjoyable memory.

Me and my partner finished the bike tour today and had such a fantastic time. Daniel and Christian were very hospitable and friendly as well as helpful. Daniel even carried our phones, keys and water for us in his bag pack!! We were first shown around key areas of the city before we were taken out into the countryside venturing along routes that we wouldn’t have known to take had it not have been for Daniel. My favourite part by far were the magnificent views - pictures wouldn’t do it justice. Breathtaking and stunning. We saw a side of Salzburg that we never expected to see! Strongly recommend this tour if you love adventure and exploration. As an added extra, Daniel also took photos of myself and my partner and sent them to us after which was really lovely as we’ll be able to cherish those memories even more so now. Thanks Daniel!
