We went on the full day excursion, which included the Eagle’s Nest, salt mine, and Königsee. It was a nice sampling of things to see near Salzburg. The Eagle’s Nest visit was very good, the salt mine was a little challenging for non-German speakers, as we had headsets, but had to try to listen while the German explanation was being broadcast. The lake was absolutely beautiful, but the time there was unfortunately quite short, and you had to walk 20 minutes just to get a good view of the lake.

Of course if you are in Austria you have to visit mountains. This excursion will let you see the beautiful and majestic Alps. It is worth it’s money. The lake was also a wonderful surprise. It was like on those postcards- emerald water surrounded by the mountains, the cows graze in the meadow. I’m totally satisfied with this trip.

It's a great experience to visit this historical place. Very good views from the hilltop.
