Walter was fantastic and very informative. The views of the alps were amazing and the Eagle’s nest was great to see and the history behind the place/area. At times it felt we were rushed and didn’t get any time to explore where the coach dropped us off and the surrounding area we were rushed off to a town for over an hour to have some lunch which we could have done when we got back to Salzburg.

It was wonderful. My husband was always interested in the history of WWII and now his dream came true - he saw the Eagle’s nest. I was more interested in the views and scenery, and I should admit I was never as impressed and moved as there. Being there is like being at the top of the world among German mythical gods. The tour itself was very well organized and comfortable with plenty of stops, free time and good explanations.
