Would've only been better if a little longer in Berchtesgaden but perfectly adequate. Enjoyed every moment... Especially sliding into the saltmine!!

It was a complete experience with Slides, Salt, Train and Boat ride. Richard our guide was very good. The local guide at the Mine was also fun. We traveled with kids, 5 year old and 8 months old. Only thing to improve could be a little more time to explore Berchtesgaden should be given and some consideration for kids to eat & have fun.

Learn what it's like to live in the Bavarian Alps. Travel along the Königseeache River passing the Obersalzberg, where the leaders of the Third Reich once had their residence.

The highlight of this tour is a visit to a 500-year-old salt mine, where you'll first slip into original protective gear before entering. Once inside, you'll learn about exciting, informative, and legendary facts to do with this enchanting, underground world. Use the slides that miners once used to delve deeper into the mine and see what secrets it still hides. A raft trip along the mystical underground salt lake and a trip on the mine railway cap off the informative trip.

Before returning to Salzburg, you'll have plenty of time to discover the Berchtesgaden area.

The tour at the Salt mines was very informative, full of activities and friendly for all ages. I didn’t even expect to slide down twice and it was really fun. The Mirror lake was absolutely beautiful. As for our guide Susie, she was an amazing! Very warm and accommodating, she ensured that we were cozy and comfortable during our rise. Susie never run out of information to share with the group which is what I am really looking for an expert tour guide. Just wish that we could take more photos inside the Salt mines especially in the Mirror lake. This is the only downside but still giving this tour 5 stars!
