Full description

Head out into the beautiful landscapes of Jujuy Province on the first day of this 2-day tour. Admire views of the Quebrada del Toro gorge. Visit the museum in the small town of Santa Rosa de Tastil. Continue to Puna de Atacama for unrivaled views of the plateau's lunar landscape. Take a break for lunch in San Antonio de los Cobres (at your own expense), before the drive along Route 40. Be on the lookout for wildlife, including vicunas, llamas, foxes and condors. Take in views of the salt desert of Salinas Grandes en route to the Hill of 7 Colors in Purmamarca. On the second day, visit the Pre-Inca ruins of Tilcara. Enjoy a break for lunch and take some time to explore the town. On the way back to Salta, visit a chapel built 700 years ago and see magnificent paintings of the artistic tradition known as the Cusco School.

One knows when hiring that the experience lasts 12 hours, but they suffer when doing it and probably need that time ... they are many hours sitting, some road in poor condition, but it is worth it for what is seen, lived and for the good guide and the driver

The tour is really nice especially if you extend it to 2 days. Humahuaca is a bit overrated in our view. It must be remembered that the tours that are sold here as English are mixed tours Spanish / English. We had 3 tours with very different guides. 60-90% of the lecture on the bus was in Spanish.

Theoretically good idea, but not well done

On the first day the guide was great and we could admire many sights. On the second day we unfortunately had another guide who spent a lot of time at typical tourists / souvenir shops to show us than the landscape. Unfortunately, everything is quite rushed and you generally do not have enough time to take a look at the area. Much can be seen only from the bus when driving by
