See the sights of Salt Lake City on the interactive Urban Adventure Quest. Let your smart phone be your guide in a competition to solve clues and complete challenges as you travel from Union Pacific Depot, to Temple Square and the State Capitol Building.
What to Expect
If you’re looking for a way to turn Salt Lake City into a giant game board, Urban Adventure Quest has created an interactive scavenger hunt that combines the fun of the Amazing Race with a 3-hour sightseeing tour of Salt Lake City.
Guided from any smart phone, teams make their way around the well-known and the overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while discovering Salt Lake City’s art, culture, and architecture.
Race to be the first to finish the game, or take as much time as you need, solving clues, completing challenges, and learning about local history along the way.
The adventure begins at the Union Pacific Depot and takes you on a well-designed course among Olympic monuments, through Temple Square and up to the State Capitol. The tour involves approximately 2.5 miles of walking and uses the local transit system once in the game.
Using a smart phone as your guide means that you can start when you want and determine your own pace of play.
Offered at a fixed price for a group as opposed to per person pricing, this city tour/game is a great value for those on a budget.
Points of interest on your Quest include:
• Gateway District Plaza
• Temple Square
• Salt Lake Temple
• Salt Lake (Mormon) Tabernacle
• State Capitol Building
• City Creek Park

Know Before You Go
A team may have as many people as you like. However, the Quest is typically best with no more than 6 players on each team. Large groups can break up into many teams and compete for the best point score and time. Each team needs to purchase a Quest with a unique email address and password.
All the information you need to start your Quest will be sent to your smartphone, which will be your guide. You will not meet with an actual person.
You may purchase your Quest days, weeks, or months before your adventure.
We suggest bringing water, snacks, money, a city map, a calculator, a pencil and some paper, and of course, a fully charged smartphone.
