Very good value boat trip. Part of the reason for that is because the boat does not dock at Amalfi or Positano, so you can’t get off to look around. To do that would have been considerably dearer. The only downside for us was the strength of the wind, slightly spoiling the experience, but it was important to stay out on viewing top deck

Full description

On this guided one-day tour, discover the beauty of the Amalfi Coast by sailing along crystal-clear waves and admiring classic Mediterranean panoramas. Pass through well-known towns and hidden gems with breathtaking scenery. Along the way, you can sample local delicacies and take a refreshing dip in the coast's inlets.

The tour starts in the morning with a meeting with the captain and crew at Porto Manfredi in Salerno at 10:15 am. You start your cruise with a welcome drink in hand. As you sip your aperitif, watch as the boat pulls away from the shore and the cerulean waves of the Tyrrhenian Sea spread out before you.
The first town you encounter, Vietri sul Mare, is known as the gateway to the Amalfi Coast. Past the picturesque town of Cetara, continue to Erchie, another small village with secluded and enchanting coves, perfect for a refreshing swim accompanied by an aperitif at the bay of Cavallo Morto, accessible only by boat.

Passing through Atrani you will arrive in Amalfi. Learn about this important medieval town from your captain while taking photos. Continuing along the Amalfi Coast, you will pass through the picturesque towns of Conca dei Marini and Furore, enjoy the view at the foot of the Arco degli Innamorati. Discover the town of Praiano and finally arrive in Positano.

During the stop in front of this beautiful town enjoy a pasta lunch, at the end of the meal you will return to the Marmorata Waterfall and take advantage of the last stop of the day. En route, continue to the ancient town of Maiori, admire the sandy beach and cityscape, and pass through Minori, the oldest inhabited site on the Amalfi Coast.

Once you have discovered the string of pearls that is the Amalfi Coast, make your way to Porto Manfredi in Salerno and conclude your tour at 4.30 pm.

We had a great experience with our Askos guide in Pompeii. Vicenzo brought to life for us how it was in Pompeii at the time of the eruption including all the details of how the city functioned and how it was to live there. He told us a lot about the work of excavating the site and analysing the findings. He was passionate and very funny.
