An excellent day trip from Madrid. Yes, this is a long day. But, overall well-balanced with enough time for sightseeing and time to relax in the vehicle. Both Ávila and Salamanca are lovely cities. (And I’ve been to Segovia and Toledo which are more common day trips from Madrid and enjoyed Ávila and Salamanca more.) Our driver and both city guides were wonderful. Highest ratings—from highly experienced world travelers (more than 60 counties and all 7 continents). First time we used Get Your Guide and we will be back.

Nacho was an excellent tour guide. Very nice trip. Too short amount for free time to eat lunch but the tour was great.

Really liked this trip even on this rainy day. Learned a lot about the Spanish history.

Two awesome cities. I lived the antiquity of both of them.

Amazing. Just the right amount of time. Enjoyed it a lot!
