Heads up wouldn’t let us in with shorts at knee level. Went and changed, then saw people with shorter shorts in. It’s hit and miss. The square is full of water all afternoon. Can’t avoid walking through water. St Mark’s is fine. Not that spectacular in the interior.

We only bought these tickets because the ones from the official site were sold out and wanted to guarantee we would enter the basilica. The price of a regular ticket is 6€, so that would put the price of the audioguide at 10€ which is not worth it. The line for the tickets was not that big but it was in the sun so it was good that we did not have to wait. Try to buy the ticket in the official site or at the basilica if you don't mind waiting like 20-30 min. This price is not worth it because you will only spend about 15-20 min inside.

Picked up the tickets very easily from Tourist Info Centre just off St Mark’s Square. I was travelling with a group of 11 so expect ticket collection to be complicated but this was so easy. Tickets were printed, stapled and waiting for us after I presented 1 QR. Audioguide is also very easy as an app on your phone to download - remember headphones or AirPods etc! Skip-the-line entry easy to locate and was actually skip-the-line (had no queue). Overall easy experience - will use GetYourGuide again.
