Casablanca: City Walking Tour

Are you ready for a journey through time with our Casablanca tour? Imagine the elegance, the glamour of early 20th-century Casablanca! Art Deco districts, breathtaking hotel interiors, gambling houses, and the most fashionable boutiques in the world. Along the waterfront promenades, the elite of European and Moroccan society strolled, ladies flaunting Parisian hats, gentlemen sealing deals. The air was thick with the scent of money, contraband, refinement, luck, and lost dreams. Meanwhile, in the medina, life moved to the timeless rhythm of the muezzin's call. Just as hundreds of years ago, craftsmen worked and traded, went to the mosque, and then indulged in their superstitions. Donkeys still carried goods through narrow streets, and quack doctors still drew in curious crowds. Today, not much has changed. But there's yet another Casablanca—the modern one. On our full-day and half-day tours, we'll dive into this energetic metropolis, the Arab world’s rising star, as celebrated in global rankings. Here, you'll find groundbreaking technology, cutting-edge architecture, and a powerful scene for street art, women’s rights, and LGBTQIA+ advocacy. TEDx talks and eco-projects light up the city’s mosques, and Catholic nuns teach coding to children. On our Casablanca city tour, you'll journey through time, experiencing these multiple layers of life. Our tour give you the fullest picture of Morocco—where history, religion, ancient traditions, and superstitions blend seamlessly with the city’s vibrant modernity, technological innovation, and progressive social change. And of course, tales of jinn, pirates, and the adventurers from the protectorate era. The guide Mr.Sadok and the driver Mr.Ramania were both well versed in English. Mr.Sadok took care of the entire group very efficiently and we had an enjoyable tour to Casablanca and back. The visit to the mosque was the biggest attraction of the tour. Mr.Sadok gave us history of the city and clearly communicated everything throughout the journey. Both the guide and the driver were friendly and kind. The driving was very smooth too.

It was our first time and first day in Morocco. After spending the day with Mehdi, it’s like we’ve lived here for years. Mehdi was very knowledgeable about the country and the sights. He is also a very skilled driver! If you are touring Casablanca, please ask for Mehdi you will not be disappointed.

The travel was fun especially the tour guide Amine who gets in his way beyond and explained it properly. The way to Cassablanca has been smooth sailing due to our excellent driver Bajou. Very punctual and informative. One of the best tour we have. ❤️
