Experience the grandeur of Acatenango and the Fuego Volcano on this 2-day tour. Start with pick-up from your hotel in Antigua Guatemala between 9:00 to 9:20 am depending on the order of the route, but please be ready from 9 am to avoid delays. Then we will leave Antigua to make a stop at our station where we will give you food, two liters of water, jackets, gloves, hats and here you can rent backpacks, flashlights and we will give extra information about the tour. This will be from 9:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Then we will arrive at the village of La Soledad where we will meet the guides who will accompany you on the tour, we will arrive here at approximately 11:15 am - 11:30 am, after informing the name of the group and a couple of information from the guide we will start the hike to the base camp this will take from 4 and a half to 6 hours depending on the passage of the group. We will arrive at the base camp approximately between 4:45 pm to 5:45 pm depending on the pace that the group has had, here the guide will accommodate you in the domes so that you can leave your things and relax. The second day starts at 4 am where you will climb to the summit of the Acatenango Volcano to appreciate the sunrise from the Summit, those who do not want to climb can wait at the camp, then the guide will prepare breakfast for you approximately between 6 am to 7 am, to start descending to the point where we started the hike the day before, where the bus will be waiting for you that will be taking you back to Antigua.

Walk for 2 hours to the summit of Pacaya Volcano and enjoy stunning views. Leave from Antigua for a 1-hour bus journey to the volcano's base before immediately starting your 2-hour trek with your local guide. Hike through wonderful pine forests up to the trickier volcanic ash section and finally to the sulfur smoking cone. On occasion, you can even see small eruptions and lava flowing, depending on the activity of the volcano. From the summit, you can enjoy great views of the nearby volcanoes, Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango, the pacific lowlands, and all the way to El Salvador. To ensure your safety you won’t be able to visit the crater, but you will get an amazing view of red-hot lava flowing and steam baths created by the heat of Pacaya. Take a break and relax here as you take in more scenic views before hiking back to the base of the volcano, from where you will transfer back to your accommodation. 

After a hotel pickup, leave Antigua to the base of the Pacaya volcano. Sit back and relax on a bus for the 1-hour trip. Upon arrival, begin the climb with a local guide, walking through a large forested area. Travel along paths of the volcanic area, appreciating views of the other volcanoes in addition to the regional vegetation along the way. When you reach the plateau, see the main crater of the volcano from a distance. Observe the lava depending on the activity of the volcano and some steam baths created by the heat of the Pacaya Volcano. After soaking in spectacular views of the Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango volcanoes at the summit of Pacaya, start the descent to the base, before taking the bus back to Antigua.

Watch the sunset and the sunrise from Acatenango volcano and several eruptions, mainly at night you can see lava. Then get an overnight in our Form-A cabain (Alpine) on the base camp located just in front of the Fuego volcano, facing it over an elevation of 3,700 meters above sea level. Very tough hiking but it worth in the end, this is unique experience and no mach words to describe that is beutiful.

Ride your ATV to three mountain tops with incredible views overlooking the city, valley, and volcanoes near and around Antigua. Arrive at the parking lot in El Hato, climb into the 4x4 pickup truck, and head to Hobbitenango. There are approximately 5 hours of walking to reach the base camp, along the way there will be several stops for rest, hydration and food. There is a option to hike the volcano of FUEGO at first day with an extra walk of 03 hours round trip, People who wish to do so must confirm with group guide to be noted, The extra price to hike Fuego Volcano is Q200 per person. Our first stop on this tour is ¨El Cerro de la Cruz¨ this is one of the best known attractions sites in the city of Antigua, maybe even Guatemala. At the ¨Cross¨ we get a birds eye view of Antigua and the wonderful architecture of the city, not to mention the Volcanoes. Once finished taking pictures and walking around the park, we will get back on our ATVs and head up to ¨Hobbitenango¨ a lord of the rings themed Eco-Park to have some fun.  We will leave our ATVs parked in our parking lot in the mountain of El Hato and head up to Hobbitenango on a pick-up truck to sightsee, enjoy great views and other activities in this enchanted little forest.  Once finished at Hobbitenango we will take the pick up truck back to our ATVs in El Hato and go to the opposite side of the valley to a village called San Juan del Obispo.This village is located on the foothills of the Agua Volcano. In San Juan we visit a popular chocolate factory called Chocolateria Antigua, where they show us part of their chocolate making process, taste various flavors, and we have a chance to purchase the ones that we liked. Once finished we visit the main plaza of the village, where we can get a nice view of Antigua below us. After a few pictures, we will head to a local restaurant and be able to taste Guatemalan cuisine for some lunch before heading back to our office.
