We booked the private Whale watching tour and had an amazing day. Our driver was on time, which was a good start. It saved a lot of time not having to stop at all the hotels to pick people up. I was a little nervous when I saw how small the boat was we’d be out in but the local guide and captain were great. The best part is that we could see 360 degrees so wherever there was a whale spotted, we could see it. Our guide, Jose, anticipated well how the whales would come up next, so we got a lot of sightings. On Bacardi Island he got us oriented and settled and then we got to let them know when we were ready to go. In all, a great experience! Highly recommend for anyone that doesn’t want to be part of the big tour bus experience!

Pickup was easy from our hotel. We had a two hour drive to the port and boarded the boat. Then we were at sea for about two and a half hours watching for whales. We had a few sightings out in the distance and one much closer. Then we went to the beach for lunch and chilled out at the beach until we asked to go back. Overall was a fun trip.

In the whales season are many bookings and we will like to have your tickets safe for you. In Bacardi Island, Lunch Buffet from typical Dominican Style will be provided. When lunch is finished you are allowed to swim and as private trip you can set when you want to go back to Punta cana areas.

We were shocked when we saw the boat…..small and well used…..BUT, it ended up being a fantastic experience. The crew was very knowledgeable and the small boat ended up being a plus because the captain could maneuver around the whales where the big boats could not. We saw a mama whale and her baby frolicking in the ocean for quite awhile. Very happy!! We also went to an island that had an amazing lunch waiting for us and a beautiful beach. We really enjoyed our trip, it was worth every penny and more.
