Full description
Spend the day snorkeling at Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, part of the Coral Triangle of Sabah in the South China Sea. Recognised as having the greatest biodiversity of any waters in the world, the Coral Triangle offers a vast range of marine life, including many colorful reef fish. You will sail by fully equipped catamaran to the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman, where you will take 2 different guided snorkeling adventures around the coral gardens. An a la carte lunch will be served during the day at an island café, while refreshments will be available on board the well-equipped catamaran throughout. The exact snorkel locations will be selected on the day of your tour, dependent on sea conditions, as well as your level of experience. For more confident snorkelers, a trip to a remote coral reef will be organized, where you can snorkel directly off the boat. Less experienced snorkelers can relax with the help of a PADI professional guide, who will snorkel with you from tranquil beaches, and help you spot and identify the diverse marine life. See if you can spot an elusive green or hawksbill turtle. And look out for the shy clownfish, fondly known as "Nemo!"

Started the day with joint attendance and information. We were told what was going to happen and we were taught how to snorkel. We stopped 3 times for snorkeling. In the middle of the day it was lunch at an island cafe. The guides were keen on how we were doing and were happy to give us tips and advice. They seemed genuinely happy about their work, which spreads to the group. Thanks for a wonderful day on the water!

Fantastic snorkeling guide

Service (i.e. snorkeling guide Esther) was fantastic. Bubbly, attentive and really helpful. She was really into teaching us the correct snorkeling method, despite us not asking her to do so. Visibility was just OK, but it is not within their control. Food was just meh, but the portion is big, which is a plus :) Boat was clean! which is superb. Life vest a bit on the old and dirty looking side, but no nasty smell unlike some other boats (other companies) we have been on, which is great! Email communication and instructions were very clear. Would i recommend this to others? yes!

Nice snorkeling fun

The pickup worked as agreed. We went to three different snorkeling spots all around Gaya Island. Everyone has their peculiarities. We could see many beautiful corals and fish. The water was very clear for the most part. The last snorkeling area was the best. We even saw a black fin reef shark and a turtle. Lunch on the island was ok but not great. Can recommend the tour. Hopefully the reefs will continue to be so intact.
