We absolutely loved our private tour! Our tour guide was the sweetest lady ever, full of so much information about the local area and tribes and so happy to help with anything. This is the perfect guided tour for you if you don’t want an intense trek, which was exactly what we were looking for! We saw two stunning waterfalls, the rice terraces were amazing, as was learning about the local tribes beautiful textile work 🥰 10/10 reccomend!

The tour was great and our guide was fantastic. She was informative, personable and a pleasure to be around. The village walk aspect was chill - we didn't do any activities apart from lunch there but it was nice to see and learn. The waterfalls were huge (it was after a big rain).

Full description

After meeting your local guide and driver, head about 30 minutes out of Sapa Town to visit the Silver Waterfall, Love Waterfall and Tram Ton Pass. Explore the area before leaving for the traditional village of Ban Khoan. From there, begin your trek. The trek, about 4 hours and 15 kilometers (9.3 miles), takes you along mountain trails and through remote tribal villages. Enjoy amazing views of the surrounding rice paddies, and take plenty of photos as you learn about the unique cultures of the Hmong and Red Dzao people. Take a break for a picnic lunch before continuing the trek to the home of the Red Dzao tribe in Ta Phin Village. In the afternoon, meet your driver to begin the 30-minute transfer back to Sapa.

WOW what an experience! I have travelled quite a lot and nothing could compare to the picturesque mountains, waterfalls and the truly enlightening culture experience of being in the village. Our guide Lisa had fantastic English, she showed us the cultural traditions of the Hmong people and told us stories that had been passed down through generations :) The lunch in the village was so delicious and they catered for me being vegan. Can’t recommend this tour enough! I’d do it all again if I could !!! Thanksssss Lisa :))))))
