What people are saying about Sa Pa

Our guide in Sapa was EXCELLENT. Her English was great and she had a lot of knowledge about everything in the tour. Inspite of the rain in Sapa, she took excellent care of us. Our request for vegetarian food was taken into account and food served at the restaurant was delicious. However there were 2 things I did not like but the tour 1. On the day of the tour, the service provider sent us an email including itinerary and gave us false information that our dinner was included and when I emailed them during lunch time, they did not respond to my question (still have not responded) 2. The "limousine" is only for 6 people; there are 6 comfortable chairs. However there were 8-9 people in our limousine and our group of 2 were cramped in the front seat next to the driver. On our way back, our group of 2 had to sit separately, one next to the driver and the other cramped in the back seat between 2 chairs. So we never got to sit on the chairs although we paid for comfortable seats.

We had an amazing trekking tour - would highly recommend! We stayed at Sapa Charm Hotel, and they have links with a local tour guide named Trang - she was absolutely fantastic. Took us on great trekking trails and helped us understand a bit about life in Sapa. She was a wonderful tour guide and we couldn't speak more highly of her - very enthusiastic and knowledgable!

Very good experience, with a guide for us alone. The reservation a bit disorganized as we were booked into another hotel (much better than we initially thought) but we were not told, so when we arrived in Sapa we didn't know where to go and the driver didn't know either and didn't speak much English. Except this, the rest very well with a guide of 10.

Everything is well organized and you see a lot of the surroundings of Sapa. It is nice that you are picked up at your hotel and the local guide knows a lot about life and the environment in that region. Make sure you can carry everything you bring :)

Great experience around local Villages. The local Guide was exceptional: adapted her way of explaining the history and tradition to what we were interested in. Fantastic!
