After pickup from your hotel, head to the ranch where you will meet your horses and muleteers. Upon arriving at the ranch, the guide will provide a brief induction to teach you how to control the horses. The horses will be selected according to your experience and mood. Start the tour passing by the Andean village of Yuncaypata. Next, go to Inkilltambo, an ancient checkpoint control for travelers and business people from Incan times, restored only 3 years ago. Continue and visit Rumiwasi or the “Stone House”, an ancient house from a local leader during Incan times. Admire the quality of the architecture before making a stop and enjoying your packed lunch. Finally, explore Kallachaka, an ancient Incan temple. Then, head back to the ranch and return to the city.
