Things to do in Ruka

Lovely experience! We were lucky that the sky was clear and we could view multiple northern lights at different spots. The transfer from ruka village to the assembly point was also straightforward. Thermal suit, mask, and boots were provided. However, do bring warm gloves and more socks, heat pack if needed. Our toes were freezing halfway through the ride. Guide was also friendly and he made us hot tea/coffee (berry juice for kids) and cinnamon buns at a warm cottage near to the end of the trip.
