A tour that takes you to discover unique royal palaces! Set off from Lisbon in the direction of the National Palace of Queluz, once the holiday home of the Kings of Portugal. Visit the interior and marvel at the late Baroque and neoclassical style of this building - after all, it's no coincidence that it's nicknamed the "Portuguese Versailles". Stroll through the beautiful gardens before returning to your car to head towards Belém, where you'll have the chance to stop and look at the Belém Tower, after which you'll have free time to explore the area and see the Jerónimos Monastery. Have lunch in one of the restaurants in the area before travelling back in time to the 19th century and visiting the Ajuda National Palace, the last official residence of the Portuguese monarchy. Appreciate the enormous size of the palace and learn about the daily life of the court at the end of the 19th century, in a palace that has kept its remarkable interiors intact.

The collection is beautiful. It is very sad to see that Portugal plundered many countries like Brazil and extracted all their riches and today displays them in an exhibition. Many people died at the hands of the Portuguese crown and today the story is told as if Portugal had conquered riches through its intelligence.

The museum has outstanding exhibits with clear and concise explanations about the Portuguese crown history, jewels, the monarchy, and silver. A must see, if you like museums and history.

I loved the exhibition. The jewelry is really real. A magnificent collection of huge diamonds, gorgeous bracelets and necklaces.

We had a lovely day out The driver was very helpful and the car superb
