What people are saying about Royal Observatory Greenwich

Overall rating

4.3
(3,823 reviews)

As someone who's doing the same cruise in every place I visit, I found it the funniest and actually the best! The bar was cheap. The narration was very funny and well-informed. You can ask them to get you back from Greenwich immediately after the end of the cruise or you can spend some hours there. I highly recommended it. Plus: entrance is next to major city marks, so you can combine more than one activity.

All round very pleasant and informative. Fortunately it was a beautiful sunny and dry, albeit cold day. We were on the upper (outdoor) deck and the seating was wet when we boarded. I feel that it would have been appropriate had a crew member wiped down the seats in advance of boarding.

It was interesting, very interactive, but the description is a little bit confusing. I thought it would be a real time picture off the stars and was hoping my little one sees the planets alignment in real time. But overall it was pretty cool.

The guide was excellent- very witty and entertaining. No issues with transport, everything was timed well. Excellent all round

Lovely to see the Thames and London from the river.
