We had an amazing experience! We even had a major (severe warning) storm roll through that closed down the gondola, etc. and brought with it high winds, heavy rains, lightning, and hail. We spent those hours in the theater watching the history of the gorge and park and stayed to watch the predator bird show. Once the weather cleared up, we went back to enjoying the park and eventually everything opened back up. It was memorable for sure!

Great destination! My family and I enjoyed all day full of activities, it went from zip lining to riding the gondola to walking across the bridge enjoying live music, free face painting and of course, enjoy the view while eating at the cafeteria. Very memorable experience. Only thing, I’d suggest to get there early and do the rides as early as possible to avoid long lines.

Royal gorge is a great place to take family, there's a park for kids and they put on shows and movies. Great options of food and drinks! But the bathrooms on the other side of the bridge weren't consistently cleaned like the one in the front so I do recommend to use before starting anything.
