Every tour is personalised and flexible, meaning that whether you’re with friends or joining a group, you'll feel looked after and catered to. Expect to travel in style, with luxurious leather seating and comfort, heading out on a course tailor-made for an amazing day. We may take you to some of the Barossa’s hidden gems, like the charming hamlets of Greenock, Angaston, Seppeltsfield, Bethany, and Light Pass, all just a scenic hour’s drive from the Clare Valley. Rain or shine, the Barossa is breathtaking. Wine & Dine A delicious charcuterie board lunch is included in your tour (featuring a selection of cheese, crackers, dried fruits, meats, nuts, olives, dips, and more), enjoyed at one of our stunning winery stops. Keep in mind, most wineries charge a small tasting fee for the wines, which isn’t included in our tour price, but it’s well worth it! If this sounds like your kind of day, don’t delay! Greeted by friendly crew, you will be guided through the safety briefing then out to the helicopter. Where the crew will take a photo (using your camera or phone) of you standing next to the helicopter. Lifting off from the Hoffnungsthal Valley, enjoy a helicopter flight northeast over Rowland Flat home of Jacob’s Creek Winery, where some of Australia’s largest wine tanks are located - these tanks hold up to 1.4 million litres of WINE! From there your flight takes you to the southern end of the Barossa, past the town of Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and over the Whispering Wall which holds back the Barossa Reservoir, returning finally to our base in the Hoffnungsthal Valley.

Admire panoramic views of the world-famous Barossa Valley on a thrilling helicopter flight with a professional. Take off from Lyndoch to fly over this striking wine country and take in fields, mountain ranges, and a quiet creek from the sky. Greet the crew and be guided through the safety briefing before heading out to the helicopter. Take a photo standing next to it, then hop aboard for a fascinating adventure. Depart from the Hoffnungsthal Valley and fly northeast over Rowland Flat, with tanks holding up to 1.4 million liters of wine. Listen to live commentary from your pilot as you're taken to the southern end of Barossa, past the town of Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall. Head upstream to the South Para Reservoirs before returning to the base via Williamstown, capturing a view of the southern ranges.

Please note your first cellar door will be at 10am. Pick up times will be confirmed the night before with our driver as per your pick up location. Lifting off from the heli-pad in the Hoffnungsthal Valley, enjoy flying over Rowland Flat taking in the views of Jacob’s Creek Winery’s “tank farm”, before heading to Lyndoch, at the southern end of the Barossa, where you will arrive in style at Kies Family Wines. From our landing site directly at the entrance to Kies Family Wines Cellar door you will be introduced to the Kies Crew, who give great pleasure in guiding you through a tasting of their extensive range. Choose your favourite and then head to the café for a delicious 2 course lunch. After lunch, reboard the helicopter to continue the flight over the Whispering Wall (Barossa Reservoir) before descending in to the Hoffnungsthal Valley. Home of Barossa Helicopters.

Awaken your senses whilst we guide you through a journey of wine discovery, showcasing how glassware influences the taste and enjoyment of our St Hugo wines. Delve into why a varietal specific wine glass is a critical component of enjoying wine to its fullest. Tasting through four St Hugo favourites, you will see how the shape of a glass, draws different characters and personality from each of the wines. This is an experience for novices and aficionados alike, there is something to discover for everyone. Following your Riedel Masterclass, enjoy a 3-course lunch in our AGFG 2-hatted restaurant, dining on seasonal dishes complimented by 2 glasses of St Hugo wine.
