I really enjoyed the 3 hour hiking experience in the Arctic Circle Hiking Area even though we had wintery weather conditions! The guide Kristiina was very knowledgeable about the area and great fun to be with. She enjoys hiking just as much if not more! The hiking area is picturesque with wooden bridges over flowing rivers. We stopped in the middle of the way for some barbecue where we rested for a while. All in all it was a great memorable experience.

We loved the day outdoors. The national park is one of a kind - beautiful, tranquil and a true representation of Finland. We’ve been walking about 6 km on easy hiking trails through forest and swamps, seeing plenty of Lapland’s nature. Our guide has been awesome, well informed and showed us some great places within the park. Topping it all of was a little bbq with the most delicious sausages grilled over open fire.

The hiking trip was an excellent experience. Snow filled forest, frozen rivers.. winter wonderland at it's best. Sandra was a wonderful guide. She gave us a lot of pointers and taught us to chop wood. :) We were definitely in good hands.
