This is a wonderful experience for all age groups. From pick up to collecting warm clothing ( optional ) and then arriving at the reindeer farm was so efficient . The guide and staff at the farm could not be more engaging to ensure everyone had a magical time. Watch the deer being fed in a picturesque setting and then take a sleigh ride . The hot fruit tea and ginger biscuit in the traditional lap building with open campfire where information on the reindeer is given was perfect to end the activity.

The good: You can feel the passion in the place. The owner takes a lot of pride in his work and loves answering questions. Seeing the reindeer feeding is really special. The bad: Bundle up! It's cold while you walk around the farm and the short reindeer ride doesn't have a blanket. Also, the tent has an open fire, so if you don't want your clothes to smell like a camp fire, use the guides' provided overalls if you can. Overall: I'd definitely recommend this tour.

It is an impressive experience, one which is not so common since you will be visiting a private Reindeer farm. The owner is also really friendly and willing to give information about the trade and knowledge of reindeer herding. The ride is a nice touch and a short stroke on the frozen lake is a must ☺️
