Rovaniemi: Snowman World Entrance Ticket

If you’re visiting the village, we would recommend paying to enter this area of the place. Fair few things to do, our kids loved it, all staff are excellent, polite, happy to have fun, there’s ice / igloo slides, ice skating, snow tubing! (2 courses but similar, short’ish, but fun ne et the less) ice bar and restaurant, ice sculptures, lovely cafe looking out over the free area of the park to unwind afterwards with a hot drink etc. You can re-enter the whole place throughout the day, so ‘come & go’ as you please, which our kids wanted to do - so that’s why I’d recommend it as great value all things considering. Likewise will shout out the visit to see Santa, kids loved it, bit of a queue (probs 40mins) but obviously worth it, Santa speaking various languages we noticed, French, German, English, Spanish that we heard - making the magic more special ; ) Overall a Great day, (would recommend a drink over at the Attic Cafe too, nice way to end your day, v.Cosy)

Es hat unser sehr gut gefallen. Beeindruckende Kunst aus Eis. Faszinierend. Toller Ort wo man mehrere, tolle Aktivitäten machen kann. Wir haben vor Ort auch im Eis-Restaurant gegessen. Das Essen war sehr gut, viel Auswahl auch für Vegetarier und Personen mit einer Glutenallergie. Personal vor Ort sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen - top. Etwas muss ich jedoch bemängeln das Personal ist gemütlich (bis das Brot kam dauerte es fast 15Min. Man bedenke man isst in einem Restaurant aus Eis, wo das Essen relativ schnell kalt wird…) aber das ist anscheinend generell die Workeinstellung hier in Finnland. Für jemand aus Deutschland eine Umstellung, als auch oftmals eine Herausforderung, da wir die Hektik des Alltags gewöhnt sind. Allem in allem können wir Snowman World bedenken los weiter empfehlen. Ein richtig toller und beeindruckender Ort :-) Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall 💯✌🏼😊! Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ebenfalls okay, auch was das Essen im Restaurant angeht.

Visiting the Snowman World is a great way to spend some time having childlike fun and playing around in the snow. The snow slides are cool and the labyrinth was also very nicely built. The snow art on the walls are breathtaking, and having a drink while sitting on a bench made of ice is truly a unique experience. Totally recommended even for people travelling alone.
