Full description

Discover Korouoma, a 30-kilometer-long and 130-meter-deep canyon located southeast of Rovaniemi. Embark on a guided tour with a hotel transfer, travel through scenic landscapes, and see how the waterfalls turn into fantastic ice formations during the winter. Get picked up by your guide from your accommodation in Rovaniemi and set off for the Korouoma Canyon nature reserve. Start the tour with a hike through the park, admiring spectacular cliffs, rapids, and waterfalls. Keep your eyes sharp to observe an array of rare species that call the area home. We come from France and this experience was the best of our week in Lapland for several reasons: - The first is that our guide, Egor, ( thanks again to him ) was extremely friendly and professional. That is, he went at our pace and let us have fun when we could safely and told us when it was dangerous and that we had to be careful in explaining why. He was also very attentive to all our questions and answered with pleasure! - The second is the landscape. Everything was beautiful even if it did not snow that week and the ice was melting, it did not take away the beauty of breathtaking landscapes. - The third is that we are a small group, preventing large queues of people. That’s why I put 5 stars. To do or redo without hesitation!
