The bus leaves from the meeting points as follows: - Rovaniemi City Center, address Koskikatu 22 at given times - Santa Claus Village, bus stop by the main road at given times - If you arrive to Apukka on your own, please be there 10 minutes before tour starting time. The Apukka Shuttle Bus leaves the bus stop at the given times and will not wait if someone is late. In case you are late, no refunds can be applied to your tour. We recommend you arrive at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the pick-up time.

    Full description

    Meet and mush with your new howling, furry friends on this safari adventure. Huskies are one of the most beloved animals of the North, and you’ll understand why as soon as you meet the pack. Pet them, pose with them for photos, and listen to stories about their lives.   Then, take a 5- to 10-kilometer long husky sled ride, where you get to be the musher yourself. This means you can control the pack of huskies towing the sled.

    The dogs absolutely love pulling loads and running on the trail across the forests. Feel the thrill of the ride and the cool wind on your face as you tear through the forests.   Finish off with a hot drink before saying goodbye to your new friends.

      We had a nice experience. The tour is well organised and the staff was really nice! The dogs are so cute and we had the chance to ask a lot of questions Just if I can say, I had no blanket and was really cold in the slug and we didn't had the chance to cuddle with the poppies. Also the tour is a little short for the price. At the end it was a nice tour but a little bite short

      Was an amazing safari. The guides were very nice and careful about the dogs. The dogs were just happy to go on a safari. The dogs were all very happy and in a good mood. In the beginning I was scared that this will be just a tourist attraction and that dogs are not treated properly. But it was just not the case. I can recommend the safari with appuka adventures.

      Is an area where there are more things to do. You cross the road and in the forest are the pens with the dogs. Nice people guiding our tour. Was very short. It says 2 hours but you are efficiently working for 45 minutes. Beautiful piece of nature that you go through with the dogs. I would say book a long tour! This is fine with small children.
