- Your pick-up time will be confirmed via email from Apukka Resort (the activity provider) within 48 hours of booking. Please make sure you open and read this email. There are two pick-up points: Rovaniemi City Center: at address Korkalonkatu 32, pickup time 50 min before activity starting time. Santa Claus Village: The bus stop Napapiiri I by the main road, E75. Pickup time 35 minutes before the activity starting time. Please note that if you miss the pick-up, refunds are not available.

If you are looking for a thrilling winter experience, this is it. The scenery is amazing and riding snowmobiles is so much fun. Just beware that it can be icy and bumpy so it's not as relaxing as you may imagine. I took a 14-year-old as a passenger and he had a great time. But - despite rather mild temperatures - his hands were really cold at the end. The driver can switch on the heating on both handles, but you may want to pack some hand warmers for the passenger.
Very impressive activity. Worth the money. Jere and Akub were impressive with there guidance.

Know before you go
- Children will join the safari on a heated sled. We highly recommend that one of the parents sits with a small child in the sled for the child’s comfort and safety.
- Please consider whether this activity is suitable for your young child.
- If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, you need to book the child as an adult!
- The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a driving license valid in Finland. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle.
- Self-liability insurance for your snowmobile before the safari minimizes potential self-liability costs to a maximum of 250 € per person, reduced from the standard 980 € in case of an accident. This insurance is personalized and applicable for a single snowmobile safari.
- If you prefer to drive a snowmobile solo, please purchase the single driving supplement in addition to the “adult on a shared snowmobile” price.
