Full description

Come directly to the activity provider's office if you are staying in Rovaniemi, or else get a hotel pickup if you are staying outside the city. Then, listen to a safety briefing from your guide and learn how to properly ride a snowmobile. After this, put on your warm clothes, helmet, and boots. Next, hop onto the snowmobile and drive out into the snowy countryside. Ride through the snow and take in the beauty of the white landscape. Glide along country trails and stop off along the way to admire the spectacular scenery in a calm environment. Enjoy some hot drinks as well. Finally, return to the starting point to take off your helmet and gear. Head back to your hotel after the activity is over.

  • Driver's license

Know before you go

  • The driving time on the snowmobile is 1 hour
  • Cold-weather clothing will be provided, but you should dress appropriately for winter
  • The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license (A1, T, A or B category). Please bring physical drivers license. The digital one is not accepted in Finland.
  • Please check that your license is valid in Finland before you book the activity
  • It is strictly prohibited to drive a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile
  • The driver is held liable for a flat rate of €1000 per person in case of an accident
  • The price is per person with two people sharing the snowmobile.
  • The price for the single-driving supplement is €60 per person

What an amazing experience! Thibault is an amazing guide, really entertaining and helpful. Going through a snow packed forest in a snowmobile is just incredible. The transport was great and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the activity.
