Full description

Experience the joy of mushing your own team of huskies through wintry landscapes! The husky musher will welcome you at the reception of the resort and walk with you to the kennel, where the Alaskan huskies will happily greet you. Before the start of the safari, the husky musher will show how to steer your own sleigh. Enjoy the surrounding nature and the silence while the huskies take you to a trip to remember. After the husky ride, we return to the kennel to hear facts and stories of huskies and enjoy hot drinks by the campfire.

  • Meeting time for our safaris is always before the starting time of the safari. You will receive your meeting time and point upon confirmation. Safari starts when the group is clothed and ready to go. Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded. Time spent in transfers is not included in the safari duration.

Tolles Erlebnis! Ich wusste nicht, dass ich so viel Spaß haben werde. Anders als andere Touren fährt man hier mehr als nur ein paar Meter; zunächst kurz durch den Wald, danach über einen gefrorenen See, wo man den Platz tauscht. Nach der Rückkehr viele Streicheleinheiten für die Hunde und zum Anschluss noch in der Jurte bei Keksen & Kakao wahnsinnig viel gelernt. Würde ich sofort wieder machen, absolut empfehlenswert

The experience was amazing. From the moment we arrived at Safartica office, the staff were super helpful and organised. This is in stark contrast to a tour we did with a different company previously, and cost a small fortune :( They were friendly and could not do enough to make sure we had the correct, warm attire, as the weather was -29. Mario at Baba Husky was informative, professional and really friendly. The sled operator was amazing and made sure we were happy. He even stopped to pick up one of our phones that was dropped while taking photos (whoops!). This is a MUST DO experience in Lapland. They genuinely care for, and have their huskies well being as their top priority, and it is a smaller family orientated business.

Es ist eine traumhafte Landschaft und die Hundeschlittentour ist ein muss für jeden der im Winter in Lappland ist. Es macht viel Spaß die Zeit mit den Hunden zu verbringen. Die Tour könnte zwar etwas länger sein, aber es war auch ziemlich kalt (-32 Grad) sodass wir mit den 3,5 Kilometern zufrieden und glücklich waren.
