Had a lot of fun on this tour. The snowmobiles require a bit of work to steer until you get onto some open snow. As a complete beginner, it was a little daunting until I relaxed into it. This shorter tour was just enough for me. We had 2 guides, David and unfortunately, I did not get the name of the other. Both were excellent, though

We had an amazing time on the Safartica Tour. The guides were very professional and helpful. The experience of riding a Snowmobile on a frozen river and through snowy woods is incredible. It was a lot of fun and we made great memories. It was also very convenient as we got picked up from our hotel to the Safartica Office in the City Center. Highly recommend doing this experience when you are in Rovaniemi!

It started off with being extremely slow since some drivers naturally weren‘t comfortable enough to speed with their snowmobiles. So I enjoyed our surroundings with was impressive. We drove on the frozen river that surrounds Rovaniemi. Unfortunately the path through the forests were very bumpy. Our guides apologized for that and said they haven‘t been done yet and frankly there wasn‘t enough snowfall which wasn‘t their fault. At the halfway point we asked if we could go any faster and they split the group in two, fast and slow. The way home, with the faster group, was absolutely thrilling! We were grateful about our guides fitting the groups wishes and needs =)
