Full description

Ride your own snowmobile in the countryside around the Arctic Circle. Enjoy the beautiful wintry forest scenery and take photos during the short stops made during the ride. Two adults ride on one snowmobile, and the tour is suitable for everyone, even those who have never driven a snowmobile before. This is also a perfect activity for families with children, with children traveling in a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. If you do not wish to drive the snowmobile yourself at all or if you do not have a driver's license, you can also join the tour in the sleigh pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Snowmobile safaris start and end in Santa Claus Village. The actual time on the snowmobile is around 30-40 minutes with an average speed of 10 kilometers an hour.

  • The driver of the snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and present a driver's license (B category) that is valid in Finland. The card version of the driver's license must be physically present on you when joining a snowmobile tour.
  • 2 adults ride 1 snowmobile and a single-rider option is available for an extra charge.
  • Children travel in a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile
  • The time on snowmobiles is approximately 30 minutes
  • If a customer is under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed to participate
  • The local partner reserves the right to make alterations to the program, price, duration, or form of transportation without prior warning
  • This also applies to changes in the program due to weather conditions
  • This tour is not suitable for children 3 years old or younger
  • If a child is not comfortable sitting on the sleigh, an adult from your party will be required to sit on the sleigh instead
  • We operate in small groups with a maximum of 6 snowmobiles and 1 sleigh per group
