Full description

Immerse yourself in truly authentic Lappish culture with the country’s magical, gentle reindeer. Experience the tranquillity of the local forests as you travel along the glittering snowy trail on a sleigh pulled by a reindeer. After being picked up from your hotel, you will meet the local reindeer herders and familiarize yourself with their culture and everyday life. Take the opportunity to feed the reindeer and take pictures with them.

Then, depart the farm in a storybook wooden sled, wrapped up in warm blankets, for a short journey with the reindeer into the forest. To show all your friends back home, you’ll receive a certified reindeer sleigh driving license. After returning from your mystical ride, cuddle up in the cozy traditional Lappish hut while listening to the farmer as they share stories of the local history and culture. Taste some steaming beverages and cookies, the all-time favorite for locals to warm up in the wintertime.

The bus was on time and got us safely to our destination. The people there were very open and friendly and answered all questions. We had the chance to get incredibly close to the reindeer and some of them we could even pet. We really enjoyed the sleigh ride! At the end there was a sweet tea and delicious biscuits. The dogs of the farm accompanied us all morning and were happy to be petted! An incredibly great experience!

Standard trip with bus to reindeer farm. Animals were fed upon arrival. Sled ride of 1 minute because our reindeer had run wild, which was hilarious by the way. Explanation with hot drink and cookie was nice. Nice experience. If you want to make a longer reindeer trip, you should not choose this.

Very nice experience, ride in the farm, very beautiful and suggestive place. We found ourselves surrounded by hundreds of reindeer all free around us. Single ride on the very short sled 5 minutes. Afterwards, however, we went to a typical tent / house where they lit the fire, offered us tea and biscuits, and explained the management of a reindeer farm in Rovaniemi.
