Enjoy the best of Rottnest Island with bike rental and same-day return ferry tickets. Get in the saddle and explore this unique island without cars at your own pace. Enjoy a coffee at Hillarys Boat Harbour before boarding. Relax on the 45-minute high-speed ferry crossing. On arrival, enjoy a full day to explore Rottnest Island at your own pace. Add-on a snorkel set at check-out to discover the island’s beautiful marine life. Pedal to Wadjemup Lighthouse or race to the West End. Discover the many different bays and beaches. Be sure to meet a smiling quokka and snap a selfie! Leave Rottnest Island on the 4:30 pm ferry, returning to Hillarys Boat Harbour at 5:15 pm.

  • Free parking is available at Hillarys Boat Harbour
  • Bicycle rental includes helmet and bike lock, tandem bicycles. Child seats are not available. A $25.00 cash security deposit is required at check-in for each bike hired
  • You can add on snorkel and flipper hire for $15 per person at check out, subject to availability
  • Some services are wheelchair accessible for items up to 88 centimeters wide. Please notify when booking

A must see and Rottnest Island is a must see for anyone who love’s stunning, beaches beautiful nature, and history to explore. Our bike hire/ferry ticket was such great value and every staff member from Bike Hire to Ferry staff were so wonderful to deal with. Thanks so much Fast Ferries! We highly recommend you to anyone travelling to Rottnest and we can’t thank you enough.

Ging alles super einfach und die Insel ist locker in einem Tag mit dem Fahrrad erkundet. Die Quokkas befinden sich allerdings nur im Hafen und sind außerdem leider nicht anzutreffen. Außerdem ist die Insel auch mit einigen Bergen versehen, weshalb es schon ein wenig anstrengend werden kann, aber das ist machbar.

Good experience - As a family of four from 8 years old we did 20km, found the bikes to be totally fine (7 Speed adult, 3 speed child). The logistics could have been communicated a bit more clearly but the ticket office is right next to the bike hire pickup and close to the pier meeting point. Don't forget the caravan at the West End with coffee and Toasties! Worth the ride with lots of seals to see too... We also hadn't booked a bus transfer on our return but helpfully the team were able to accomodate us with some cancellations and they dropped us back to our hotel which was great customer service.
