The route of the cruise shows you the port , ships parked and the beautiful buildings .You can sit on the top in the open or also down in covered space. The food which you can buy is very tasty and reasonably priced.Overall a great way to experience Rotterdam and start your tour of Rotterdam with this cruise
I had a family visitor from the US - she loved it. but as a Rotterdammer of 35 years, I was disappointed. The information about Rotterdam and its history was meager. A lot about the harbor and economic issues, but what about the beautiful Weerhaven, the Monument for victims of the Razzia, Het Park. the beautiful Swan - the Erasmus Bridge and how people stood on the shore to watch it being floated over the river and brought into place! too much time spent in the Waalhaven looking at big old cargo boats, it's okay, but there is more to Rotterdam. Maybe the Harbor Cruise should get on board with more culturally interesting issues. The digging of the bicycle tunnel during the war, Katendrecht was not only a place for prostitution but also a budding setting for Jazz music during wartime. good luck in the future!
