Dive head first into action on the thrilling ‘Swoop’ super sky swing at Velocity Valley, an adventure park located 15-minutes drive from central Rotorua. Experience the only swing of its kind in New Zealand on a 7-minute swoop, secured in a harness 40 meters above ground.
With complimentary shuttles (on request) to the Velocity Valley Adventure Park on Ngongotaha’s Paradise Valley Road, you will soon be strapped in by the helpful staff. Feel the anticipation rise as you and up to 2 friends are slowly elevated to a height of 40 meters, where you will release your own rip-cord, sending you plummeting back down to earth.
The thrill is significantly enhanced by securing you in body harnesses, rather than being seated in a rigid structure. The cables will catch you just in time as you swing at exhilarating speeds of up to 80mph (130kmph).
