Rotorua: Te Pa Tu Māori Cultural Experience with Dinner

entertaining evening. very keen enthusiastic Maori, sharing their culture and activities including trying to teach the men the Huka. Good, multicourse dinner. Wine/beer is extra but makes the tablemates more interesting. Worth doing this once if you are in Rotorua and want a little Maori experience.

The entire experience was lovely. I will try to touch a few subjects: 1. All of the peopleworking there were extreamly easy going, friendly, helpful and eager to answer all questions. They made us feel comfortable the entire time. 2. The food was great, and there was a lot of it. 3. The songs and dancing were terrifc, and trully impressive. I could not have guessed in advance how much I would have liked them. also, as a farewell, they also sang songs from different countries from where the guests are from and it was very lovely. 4. There were some activities before dinner. I was trully bad at them but it was all in good fun. 5. The bus driver - I have to mention it because it was really part of it. He was so wonderful and easy going, informative and funny, sang songs and told jokes on the way (that were not half bad). I would recommend this to anyone going to Rotorua and looking for a good and interesting evening.

Es war einfach ein wunderschönes Erlebnis, welches wir in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen würden. Es gab in keinem einzigen Moment das Gefühl, langwierig zu sein oder dass Preis/Leistung nicht passen würden. Alleine das vier Gänge Menü mit davor liebevoll zubereiteten Kanapee ist das Geld wert. Man bekommt einen tollen Abend mit Geschichte und kulturellen Darbietungen in einer entspannten und liebevollen Art (auch die Familie untereinander). Es gäbe noch viel zu erzählen und zu beschreiben, aber am Besten Ihr überzeugt euch selber davon. Nochmals vielen Dank für einen wunderbaren Abend und für uns ein schöner Abschluss unserer aktiven Reise in Neuseeland!
