Very welcoming and friendly, the people were amazing. A fantastic night with local Maori tradition, history and culture. From the canoe demonstration down the magnificent natural spring river to the wonderful music, singing and traditional dances to the language and stories, we just were blown away by the whole experience. From looking at how the Hangi was cooked in the ground to the amazing spread to eat, it was plentiful. We really had a fantastic experience, we were surrounded by great people all night and had an amazing time. Very memorable indeed, thank you. Highly recommended

We really enjoyed this Māori experience. It was very informative and entertaining. We got to experience so much in the one evening! The hangi was delicious with lots of food. The dancing and singing was wonderful and learning the stories behind the dancing was so interesting. We also got to walk in the forest area and see the glow worms after the hangi. A great night all round.
