Full description

Explore the old and new parts of the city of Ronda with your expert guide and a small group on this 1.5-hour walking tour.   Start your tour in the modern area of Ronda, where you’ll meet your guide and group at Plaza España. Cross the New Bridge, built in the 18th century, which spans the 120-meter gorge going through Ronda. This is one of three impressive bridges that connect the two parts of the city: the old and romantic side with the modern and expansive side. Then, wander along the edge of high cliffs overlooking the fertile countryside that surrounds the city.   Take a stroll through the Arabic Quarter of the Historical City Center and admire the Moorish architecture that still stands. You’ll continue up the cobblestone streets to the Collegiate Church and Town Hall, all while listening to stories, legends, and important facts about this city from your local guide.   Your last stop will be the birthplace of bullfighting, Plaza de Toros. This ring has staged some of the most important events in bullfighting history.
