Comfortable transport. Loved the description of Hadrian’s dining room ❤️ Guide was informative. We went through Villa D’este and then we free to roam the Tivoli gardens at our leisure. Perfect. One suggestion, bring a better set of headphones. The single earpiece provided was not adequate. I had my volume up all the way and could hardly hear the guide, and I know I missed some of what he was saying because of it.

Fabio was excellent guide. They pick you from your hotel with minivans and they assembly the group at piazza della repubblica. The only negative is that the excursion ends there and you have to go on your own back to your hotel. My hotel was just 500m away. The weather was perfect otherwise i guess it becomes muddy at Hadrian's villa.

Need a full day to do Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este justice but they are well worth a visit, each in their own right. This half-day tour was a little bit rushed but with 3 kids under 10 it was just about right. The guide was so softly spoken we ended up walking round Adriana on our own. He couldn't engage the kids and walked at a pace which was at odds with the time available.
