From the Museum, exit directly into St. Peter’s Basilica, the most important Christian church in the world, where you will admire, among others, Michelangelo’s masterpiece the Pietà, and the impressive Baldachin Altar by Bernini.

The tour was excellent. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We had no problems whatsoever with our reservation. In contrast to the previous day when we had a Colosseum tour scheduled through Viator. When the guide arrived he said we owed an additional $24 per person for admission fee even though our printed reservation said admission was included. We had 13 people so that would’ve been another $300. Get Your Guide is definitely the company to go with!

Really good trip I think. I got more stories behind the painting, sculptures… from the guide and he is really professional. Just one suggestion that he need to have one stick to mark the group he leads. It is easy to get lost without it because it was too crowded.

It’s was very interesting to see and learn a lot about the Vatican and all the history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Just think the whole thing was a bit rushed, there was not a lot of time to see the art, we were just walking non stop. It said was supposed to take 3.5 hours, it took around 2 and a bit.
