Begin your guided tour at the Vatican Museums, with their immense collection built by the Popes throughout the centuries. See the Pio Clementino Hall, the Laocoon and Apollo Belvedere, the Maps Gallery, the Candelabra Gallery, the Tapestries Gallery, and the Sistine Chapel.

From the Museum, exit directly into St. Peter’s Basilica, the most important Christian church in the world, where you will admire, among others, Michelangelo’s masterpiece the Pietà, and the impressive Baldachin Altar by Bernini.

During this tour we explored the Vatican museums and Saint Peter's basilica. It was an interesting walk - about . Our guide was really kind and knowledgeable! Sadly , there was a combination of factors that made it often difficult for us to hear her speak. Firstly , the radios we used had a distinct buzzing noise. Secondly the place was crowded with people talking loudly in different languages, kids crying , cellphones beeping etc. (try to avoid Mondays when almost all other museums are closed in Rome). Adding to that the expected accent of the guide , it was difficult to make out words at some points. The guide did everything she could to pass her knowledge to us , sharing all sorts of information about everything we saw. But something should really be done about the technology used in these tours. While I had a great time and while the guide gave her best I still missed around 15% of what I heard, which is a shame. The tour, all in all was great, worth the money and time! Go for it

Everything was exactly as promised. Our guide, Monia, was great. She was very friendly, told us beautiful stories and she gave us time to take pictures. The tour lasted almost 4 hours but time flew! After seeing the Sistine Chapel, we exited the Vatican and walked around to go visit Saint Peter's Basilica. We didn't wait ore than a couple of minutes in a line, since the tour is a "skip the line tour" but we lost some time. That was my second time in the Vatican with a guided tour. The previous time we walked in the Vatican to reach the Basilica and it was more convenient, especially if you get tired easily or have difficulties walking. Overall, I highly recommend it, it was an amazing experience!

Truly a wonderful trip. Passionate guide with huge knowledge around the whole trip. The guide was not in a hurry to move on and ended up spending 40 minutes longer than what we had paid for. Super experience. If you could give more than 5 stars, she would have gotten it.
