Tour guide was good and very informative. The museum is extremely busy which at times makes it difficult to hear the guide and more importantly to enjoy the surroundings. Most of the tour is inside so you are kept out of the sun which when we visited was a huge plus. There is a dress code so be prepared (although it says NO shorts, knee length for men are fine). The tour covers alot between the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel and St.Peters but the tour guide was careful not to overload you with information, she explains everything just to a tee. As you get alot done over the 3hrs this tour is certainly recommended, you can also go around by yourself but paying that bit extra for the guided tour is the way to go.

Amazing experience, excellent tour guide. We don’t remember her name but she was an old lady from Rome and was really passionated about the city. We skipped the line at every place. The tour is indeed 3 hours long but it goes by really fast. The tour is a MUST, going to the Vatican City blind is a no-go. We learned so much stuff from our tour guide that made the experience worth the price.

Our guide was well educated on the history and art. She was great. It was rather fast paced and I would have liked the opportunity to walk around on my own but the tour ended outside the venue and we couldn’t return without paying. A little more direction would have been useful. Like at what point could we leave the tour to self tour without having to pay another entrance fee. Thank you for the experience.
