Climb the dome and visit the basilica before enjoying a sky breakfast on the dome. By elevator, head up to the first level of the dome to the viewing balcony. Admire the basilica's inside view of the dome on Bernini’s canopy and the array of incredible mosaics which circle the dome. Then, climb the spiral staircase to the top of the dome (320 steps). At the height of 448 ft, from the highest point within Rome, admire breathtaking views of the city, including the Vatican Gardens below. Take a break and enjoy an Italian breakfast on the dome, including a cappuccino or other hot drink and brioche.
