      Go directly to the Vatican Museum entrance on Viale Vaticano. Use the preferred GetYourGuide entrance and show your ticket (paper and mobile voucher are accepted) to the security guards at the entrance, then scan your ticket at the box office CASSA ONLINE E GRUPPI after the security check.

      • All visitors must pass through airport-style security. During high season the wait at security may be up to 30 minutes
      • Youth tickets are available for those between the ages of 6-18 (inclusive) with a valid ID card
      • St Peter’s Basilica and the Square may be closed in the morning due to Papal Audience
      • The opening hours are subject to change due to special events at the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St Peter's Basilica
      • Children under 6 years old go free of charge with a valid ID
      • Those with a disability and their carer or companion go free of charge with a certificate of disability, which you must present at the Special Permits and/or the Reception desk in the hall of the museum
      • The minibus tour is not available for children 6 years old or younger
      • The Vatican can get very crowded all year round. June, July and August are particularly busy as they are high-season months

      Well this is a must when in Rome and this we found the best way of doing it. I was with my 70 year old father and we went round in our own time with our headset in hand. Any information we needed we just put the number on the device and listened. The fact that you skip the queue is even better. I can’t believe people actually not bought tickets before they travel. We went on Friday and the queue was about 100 metres. Today is Sunday and the queue no joke for people who had not purchased tickets was over 1km the biggest I’ve ever seen. With these tickets you skip past that and walk straight on and for the price wow! Get your tickets booked you won’t be disappointed.

      Excellent trip to the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. This was my favourite part of the trip to Rome. We got through so quickly and didn’t have to queue at all. We used Rick Steves Audio Europe app which provides an excellent walking tour of the Sistine Chapel.

      Vatican Museums are breathtakingly beautiful, you could easily spend 4 or 5 hours inside to enjoy them fully. Tickets bought in advance were superb, we skipped an endless queue in front of the museums and exchanged the voucher within a few minutes for the actual entrance tickets, everything went smooth.
