Our guide was very informed and it being a smaller group was helpful because we went in late July and the Vatican was PACKED. I will say that you definitely don't get to see all of the Vatican so here's one thing I wish we did differently. At the end of the Vatican portion- our guide told us that we can either stay and explore the Vatican ourselves or go with her and see the Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica. I guess communication wasn't clear and we all were under the impression that we can't see the other 2 places without her. This is wrong! Stay in the Vatican and you can freely access the Sistine chapel at your own time. When you're done, you'll be escorted out to St. Peters square and you can enter St. Peters basilica for free with no pass or tour guide necessary.

The guide was very knowledgeable, an Archaeologist by trade and tour guide on the side. His passion maybe a little too much for my partner and I but can't fault for providing an in-depth experience! The tour takes all of 3 hours, then free time to explore St Peter's Church.

Very well attended by Paula, it was a small group of people and that way everything was easier and of quality Only that the starting point seems to me that it was not very precise! They told us that we would meet in front of a bar, and it wasn't like that, the group was further away!
